Every Catholic should know their Church history ,especially that history which included the Order whose members were excommunicated by the Pope after the Fourth Crusade for the mass murders and sacriligous acts on fellow Christians and their churches.For the theft of the largest cache of Christian relics along with the greatest Christian relic in history.
We should be working for that Unity desired by the Papacy which the Fourth Crusade undermined. I highly recommend this scrupulously researched book as a place to start.
